Design & Build

Despite the large 16:9 active area, the tablet is only 4–7 mm thin, with narrow frames that keep its footprint at 377 × 253 mm. It weighs 660 g and comes in black. An improved standard texture sheet gives the surface a controlled, paper-like drag. The layout works for both left- and right-handed users.

Wacom Pro Pen 3 — Built Your Way

The Pro Pen 3 delivers 8,192 pressure levels, ±60° tilt recognition and 5,080 lpi resolution. It is battery-free, so it never needs charging or pairing. You can tune its grip, weight, balance and side switches: the box includes Flare and Straight grips, a balance weight and four side-switch inserts. The pen stand holds 10 nibs — 5 standard, 3 felt and 2 rubber — plus a nib remover.

ExpressKeys & Mechanical Dials

Ten customisable circular ExpressKeys and two mechanical dials sit along the top edge, so they stay usable with a keyboard on the desk. The dials click in precise steps for zoom, brush size, timeline scrubbing or colour levels. Every key and dial can be set per application. In fine-adjustment work, such as vector spline editing, the keys can also act as directional cursors.

Should I choose the Large or the Medium Intuos Pro?

Choose Large if you work on a big or dual-monitor setup, or draw with long arm movements. The Medium has the same 10 ExpressKeys and 2 dials in a 263 × 148 mm area. It suits smaller desks better.

Does the 2025 Intuos Pro Large support touch?

No. The 2025 generation drops multi-touch. Navigation moves to the 10 ExpressKeys and 2 mechanical dials, which give precise, tactile control.

Does the Pro Pen 3 need charging?

No. The Pro Pen 3 uses Wacom’s electromagnetic resonance technology and has no battery. Only the tablet charges, and it lasts at least 16 hours on Bluetooth.

Can I use my older Wacom pen with it?

Yes. Wacom states the tablet supports previous-generation pro pens and third-party EMR pens from LAMY, STAEDTLER and Kaweco. The Wacom Art Pen 2 also works after a firmware update from Wacom Center.
